STAGE6 STREETRACE 77CC AM6
Introducing the Stage6 Cylinder Kit 77cc Streetrace Cast Iron Minarelli AM6 – a renowned cast iron tuning cylinder crafted by Stage6. While Stage6 has long been recognized for its high-quality tuning parts tailored for modern scooters with CVT transmissions, they recently expanded their focus to include moped gearboxes (Supermotard, etc.). Starting with a 50cc line, they have now introduced two additional kits, boasting 77cc and 88cc options, adhering to the mantra: There's no substitute for displacement!
Included in the kit are:
- A 77cc grey cast iron cylinder, featuring a diameter of 50mm, 5 transfer ports, and a straightforward exhaust (28mm).
- A 2-ring piston with a diameter of 50mm.
- A one-piece high-compression aluminum cylinder head.
- Gaskets for both the head and base, along with necessary hardware.
This cylinder strikes a perfect balance between performance and reliability. Impressively, it enhances both take-off and acceleration, while the increased displacement leads to notable improvements in top speed and overall output. Thanks to its cast iron construction, the cylinder is exceptionally robust and dependable, making it ideal for demanding usage scenarios.
Moreover, assembly is a breeze, eliminating the need for complicated crankcase milling.
For optimal performance, it's recommended to adjust the entire setup. This entails utilizing a 21mm PWK carburetor, incorporating a Vforce3 reed valve, installing a racing exhaust such as the Stage6 Streetrace low-mount, upgrading to a reinforced clutch, and pairing it with a standard-stroke reinforced crankshaft. For enthusiasts seeking peak performance, consideration can be given to an internal rotor ignition like the MVT Digital Direct.
During the break-in period, it's advised to limit throttle usage for the first 300km. A two-stroke mixture of 3% (1:33) is recommended to ensure prolonged engine life.
It's important to note that the cylinder maintains an unassuming appearance, resembling the stock part. Stage6 deliberately opted not to prominently display the brand name, instead imprinting "49ccm" on the cylinder. Rest assured, despite this, it is indeed a 77cc cylinder and may therefore not be street-legal in certain countries.
